Eric S. Mizuba D.C., DACBSP
Dr. Eric Mizuba is a Board-Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (DACBSP) who is a graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas in 1998. He is also a graduate with a bachelorof science degree from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. He serves as staff doctor for the USGA at the U.S. Open each year in chiropractic and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. He also is a member of Professional Baseball Chiropractic Society and serving the Detroit Tigers for chiropractic care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy until the start of the 2018 season. Dr. Mizuba is rated by the ACR concussion registry and continues to conduct research in the area of concussion management in peer review. He possesses the philosophy of welcoming a multiple disciplinary approach in healthcare, while understanding the crucial role of chiropractic care in injury management.
Dr. Mizuba has been married since 1992 to his wife Andrea, and they have four children ages 10, 12, 16, 19.
Dr. Mizuba continues to live an active lifestyle, and has completed Ironman Arizona, as well as two marathon swims of 24 and 23 miles in the past six years. His participation in outdoor activities reflects his passion for helping his patients overcome injury and pain. He enjoys serving others through volunteer work in the community. His father and mother served as college professors where they resettled in the mainland, eastern US. His origins are from the Big Island/Hilo area, and he is very happy to interact with family once again, as well as serve the people on the Big Island.
So, from the flower garden to the athletic arena, Dr. Mizuba helps people return to their game.
